We introduced this feature in order to increase revenues from our existing and new user base.
We introduced it in order to encourage players to spend more money.
Please understand our position.
It is our obligation to strike the balance between entertaining you and creating a profitable business model.
You are only interested in entertainment but for us we have to look at the bottom line also. This decision was not a stunt and it is not taken lightly. We made the decision knowing that its still a free site and you can make your own mind up about whether you do or do not part with your cash. We have also made sure that its still possible to enjoy the game without spending any money.
As you know we are in the process of really giving this site a good push. A good kick up the bimbo backside.
In ALL areas. This means we are making the necessary changes to make this site successful in every way ie entertainment, business revenues,
fun, style, player involvement - yes the whole bloody lot!
We are doing our best to make this the very best site and business that we possibly can.
This means we have had to analyse everything and one major problem with the site was a mistake from long ago.
Its the fact that players earned too much money after a certain level! So much so that they could buy anything on the site at all !
Which makes this game a totally free one at a certain point with nothing at all for users to spend their money on (should they chose).
I dont want to get into every small detail but the financials of Miss Bimbo are not good at all. If it wasn't for the fact that we have other business interests that are making money then frankly Miss Bimbo is not economically viable.
We NEED to encourage players to spend money. One way is to tempt them to buy cool fashions using their own cash.
However because of the money situation then I am afraid there is no temptation as players can buy everything anyway.
From now on it will be UNLIKELY any player will have every item of clothing.
Players will have to pick and chose what they can and cannot buy. Or part with real money to buy everything.
One solution is to add more clothes and stuff. We ARE doing that but its wrong that some people think we (the game) should have to 'keep up' with you (the bimbos) and your earning power by introducing more and more clothes. It means we are chasing and trying to keep up with you! Pardon? Thats wrong.
On the contrary the players should earn less so that there are millions and million of more products and choice than they can possibly buy with BD. If you want every item then you should have to part with your hard earned cash to buy it. Or pick and chose your favourites with the BD you do have.
I am sure you agree no company can allow users to simply EXPECT to play every aspect of a game for free without spending a penny.
If we do we will go bankrupt. As simple as that.
Some of you threaten us saying you will leave etc (because that will hurt our bottom line.) The truth is that our bottom line is hurting already and if we carry on without changes then it is byebye bimbos.
Its also slightly bemusing that players who have never spent a single penny on the site ever then shout from the rooftops about this issue! Pardon? We are not a charity and whilst we are so grateful that you enjoy being here - we need to make some money to survive! We are not forcing you to pay money! You can still enjoy the game without spending a single penny. As many of you do.
Dont get me wrong - this site has made money in the past. And we hope it will be successful in the future also. But for now these are tough times and changes need to be made. We are gambling on the changes turning everything around. We are gambling on being able to turn it around and create a valuable profitable brand and site. We will do our best.
A good side effect of this will be that bimbos will need to be more creative shoppers/stylists etc
Another side effect is that in the long run this will be better for you as we will have more money to invest and the site will be more entertaining.
I am sure you wont agree with this decision because frankly its not in your interests to agree.
You have been receiving far too much money from the game due to an oversight on our behalf meaning the whole economy is unbalanced in the favour of you the players.
