I have thought about this message and have changed the content many times from all out apology through to all out self pity.
So I am now sure that the correct response is somewhere between the 2.
I am also sure that this message will elicit a mixed reaction but please remember that I am a human being with feelings when reading your messages.
In part this is my point.
To begin with I would sincerely like to apologise for the way I went about conveying this point. Swearing at you and getting angry has not done me any favours for sure. In my defense I am an emotional irrational human being just like you and make mistakes sometimes.
I think my point stemmed from a feeling inside that is important to me. Whether you agree or disagree I feel it needed to be made and that is that at times I feel that this site is one sided. I feel that most people here expect me to just simply lie down like a door mat and accept torrents of abuse without standing up for myself? There is a default culture that seems to accept a distinct lack of respect for the admin. And even more than that there is some type of acceptance that its ok to abuse and offend me/the admin as if we are not even humans?! what the fuggings?
Whilst I agree that swearing at you aggressively is unacceptable - I simply don't accept that I am not allowed to stand up to you when you are wrong or rude ( which happens quite often).
I feel your recurring point or argument is that because 10% of you have parted with real money then i should just shut up and allow you to abuse me or what we are doing without impunity. Its as if you believe because 1 in 10 spend money then that means that I must put aside the fact that i am human and just shut up and be quiet/allow myself to be abused?
Its as if you value money before self esteem. Well I cant agree with this. To be honest it is not good for my self esteem to let people shout and abuse me when they are wrong and so thats why I stood up for myself. We are working our hardest here you know?! We all want the same thing - but it has to be done in the correct way. I cannot allow people to abuse me and say that i should shut up simply because some of you spent some money. Money is not relevant. Manners and equality are more important than your money.
Yes I am interested in money. Yes I believe Miss Bimbo can be a valuable asset. BUT more important than that to me is the fact that we build the brand in a respectful manner with an atmosphere of equality. And that STARTS here. I simply don't see why I should be expected to take abuse simply because some of you have paid money.
I concede at times i overstepped the mark and for that I am very very sorry. But I do feel that you are too sensitive and precious as a rule.
I simply do not accept that I should just shut up and be subservient to you. If you are wrong or out of order - which some of you were. Then I will tell you. Thats my right as a human being.
I am not banning you - i am simply putting my opinion across to you. What was wrong with that?
I am going to defend my right to stand up to you however I am going to to do my best to stand up to you in a mature and thoughtful manner and not simply by getting angry.
I am sure you can appreciate that its not a healthy relationship if you are simply allowed to swear and curse at me when we are working our hardest every day to make this site the best possible with our limited resources. I am sure you can appreciate that I am not simply going to accept that I must shut up and roll over to inaccuracies or offensive comments either.
Lets take some examples =
1) People deleting their accounts. Deleting accounts and getting irate is a bit precious isnt it? It is EQUALLY as precious as me banning people because I don't agree with them. So if you think that I would be wrong to ban someone who disagrees/curses at me then presumably you also think that someone is wrong to go so far as to delete their account simply because they dont agree with me/i curse at them? If I deleted my account every time someone curses at me I would have deleted my account 1 000 000 times by now.
2) The person who decided to post my personal emails to her on the forums.
I spent my precious time replying to her and she took it upon herself to copy and paste my personal email to her on the forum! Without my permission! Now that is rude (and illegal?) in anyone's book and nobody would like that - I am no exception. I did not give her permission to do that.
So of course I stood up for myself and called her out for being rude as she undoubtedly was. Perhaps my words were wrong but the point was right. Yet still some of you defended her and said that I should not talk like that to a player etc etc You totally ignored the initial transgression and instead focused on my language. Yes I must not swear but surely you are not saying that I cant stand up for myself?
I am sure if I went to your website and posted a personal email between us you would do more than swear at me! You would probably drop the banhammer on me wouldnt you?
I must have the option to stand up for myself or that is an unfair and unbalanced relationship isnt it?

Then the person who rudely decided to post links to our company accounts etc
To be honest I couldnt care less about the content of those links - but I have an issue with somebody doing it blatantly right in front of me on my own site? Its just rude to do that right in front of me?!! I have eyes and a heart and feelings you know?!
I would not dare to post your personal bank account on line (let alone on your own bloody website!) so why would you do that right in front of me?
Because I cursed at you perhaps? ok thats a legitimate reason - but cursing at you came about as result of these behaviours in my view. NOT before.
4) Another point is with Miana.
I have a healthy relationship with her. We disagree and fight (usually in email) about different things. Sometimes I don't agree with what she says and we have to agree to disagree but so what?
Personally I didn't agree with Miana critiscizing us in public when we have entrusted her with an important role in helping us out. We made what was a necessary business change eg bodyguards. But its a free world and that was her decision to do so. Fair play. She was challenging our decision in public and I exercised my right to challenge her in public. So what? You all went mad as if I had done something terrible. Thats a nonsense and its totally unfair. So its ok for her to challenge me in public but i am not allowed? why not? that is prejudiced.
I respect Miana alot but i also think she is wrong sometimes. Its as simple as that. She works very very hard for us and it would give me no greater pleasure than for us to be successful and be able to reward her with some payments for her efforts. But its doesn't mean shes always right.
That said I am definitely sorry for the way I went about standing up for my rights. I was in the moment and got angry. I got carried away at times and took it too far using words that are not necessary and inflammatory eg 'good riddance' and 'please delete your account. 'head up your arse'' etc. So I am sorry for going too far and not keeping my composure. But I ask that you also take a look at yourselves. Take a look at what goes on around here and ask yourself how you would feel if you were I or Nico. Please keep your composure and allow me the right to defend myself and challenge you also without you simply turning to abusive comments as if i am not even a human.
I believe I was right to stand up for myself but wrong in the way I went about it so i hope you will accept my apology and allow us to move on and make this site the best it possibly can be. I also hope you will ask any of the people who deleted their accounts to return and we will certainly re instate their old accounts.
Or perhaps you really do believe that because some have paid then you are entitled to offend me and I simply need to shut up like a henpecked husband or a foolish doormat and accept that as part and parcel of being a business owner? Hmmmmmmm...........I dont agree!
